HIGHLIGHTS ALONG THE ROAD One can also SPEND THE NIGHT ALONG THE NOCKALM ROAD. The Biosphere Reserve Centre Nockalmhof on the Nockalm road was opened in 2012 and showed the fossil exhibition “fossilized worlds” that is unique throughout Austria. THE TOUR AT A GLANCE Route length: Variant 1 through Bruck an der Glocknerstrasse: approx. 330 km. Variant 2 through the Gastein valley and the Tauernschleuse: approx. 360 km.
